My husband and I were having trouble conceiving and when we went to the doctor I was diagnosed with PCOS. He put me on clomid and on the first dose I was pregnant and with twins!!! I was on Depo shots for several years without the DRs taking me off of it (planned parenthood). Its not meant to be taken for several yrs at a time. It has been 7yrs since I stopped taking it. My husband and I have been TTC for 1 year now. I have always had irregular periods or no periods at all. Early this year I found out by ultrasound that I have PCOS and was perscribed Metformin. Metformin did not work for me, I was on my period all month long. After being off Metformin I didnt have a period for 2 months Went back to my Dr a couple months later then was perscribed Provera 10mg
