The only issues I had were in the first few days of taking the meds - a headache (which is normal for me), some dizziness, slight diarrhea and for lack of a better description some numbing in my cheeks. In my opinion the ... Show Full Comment

I've have bladder infections almost constantly. They're hard to detect, unless I have visible blood, or get a culture done. The last time my culture showed the type of bacteria, and Cipro is the drug indicated for that type of bacteria. With my current infection, I was told I have no infection. Later in the day I started having joint pain in my knees and wrists. The next morning I woke up and every joint in my body is sore (even my toe and finger joints). This medicine is HORRIBLE. Not worth the two pages of poss ... Show Full Comment

Immediately after starting this medication, I started feeling better. I took the medicine for the full 5 days that I was prescribed and felt a lot better. Two days after I stopped taking the medicine, I started feeling worse than I had before I started taking it. I went back to the Doctor and my infection had come back much worse. So basically for me, it did not work. I needed a stronger anti ... Show Full Comment

I have had perhaps a half dozen episodes of UTI in the past decade and treated it each time with Cipro. I have not experienced any negative side effects at any time and the infection symptoms disappeared after each regimen.
