Don't ever take this drug! It is a crime it is on the market! Still dealing with heavy pulse, lightheadedness, joint pain, autoimmune issues after 500 days. This drug is toxic to your body and will damage your CNS.

I took this med for possible bacterica infection. Lest than half hour after taken, I felt faint,dizzy,very weak,could not stand,vomit,diarrea, all at the same time. I was sick for three days. I took this med once.

The FDA has black boxed this drug! DO NOT TAKE IT! It was issued to me by the va to treat a UTI due to kidney infection. It immediately caused dizziness, fainting, depression, dry mouth, high blood pressure, and was ineffective. Later, my ankles felt weak and I began stumbling. I have taken cipro multiple times a year, for years, due to chronic UTIs. None of my doctors mentioned any negative side effects to me. CRIPPLED ME!!!! I took just 12 pills in October of 2009 and have been unable to walk ever since! I am now on disability, and live with suicide-level pain 24/7/365. No one ever warned me this poison could cause permanent, crippling side effects--not my doctor, not the pharmacist, and certainly not the drug's warning label. What Bayer is doing with this "medication" is beyond criminal.
