Taking 1000mg twice daily. No side effects. Have lowered blood sugar level now checking 90 or less every morning. Most likely due to 35units of Lantus at night and diet, exercise more than the drug itself. The jury is still out for me as to whether it is helping or not.

Since I my symptoms for diabetes were non existing other than the elevated fasting sugar blood levels, I have neither felt a good or bad result. But I can say that I do feel more energized after my meals. I did encounter some chest pressure but maybe it's due to not intaking as much H2O (water) and I did begin a 4 mile walk 5 times a week so maybe I should be drinking much more water.

i take it for insulin resistance. to all those who get sick. do not take it on an empty stomach! give your food about 15 min. to get in your system then take it. make sure you drink plenty of water because it will make you urinate more often because it is releasing the sugar in your body. hope this was helpful
