I've been perscribed this medicine for painful urination. I don't have any kind of infection, and the doctors are usure of what is causing my problems. This is the only medicine that has helped me so far. The only thing I dislike about it is it "changes" your stools. The blue urine really doesn't bother me at all. It's also usually taken more than once daily, and I tend to forget doses.

I have interstitial cystitis and have had it for about 20 years. This medicine seems to be the only thing that blocks the painful symptoms. The only problem is that it turns your urine blue and it stains.
