Been on clonidine for over a year now for extremely high bp that is hard to control. At first worked great. Now I take it 4x per day it's barely moves my bp and the side effects are terrible. Dizziness, dry eyes and mouth. Also if I don't take it right before bed I don't sleep at all but when I do take it right before bed I wake up with terrible migraines, also have very vivid dreams. ... I have bad side effects with this medication. I have to take laxatives nearly every night just to go to the bathroom. Mouth is dry, eyes are dry, I take eye drops for dry eyes., vision get blurry. Told this to my Doctor, was told to take stool softner. I think I should be taken off this medication.
