I was achy, listless, feverish, coughing, and had a sore throat for several days when I decided I should see a doctor. He prescribed a ten day regimen of cephalexin - 500mg, 3x per day. It did the job quickly and effectively with no side effects or other distresses. I'm surprised that others had so many problems.

One day after starting this med I developed sever upper back/neck pain. Realizing the only change in my day was this med, I stopped it after 4 days. However the un-nerving pain in my neck remains and it has been 5 days since I stopped. Wonder when this pain will go---now I am taking lots of pain meds to get through the day. Hard to sleep.

Fell on left elbow had large Bursitis Sac. Took Cephalexin for full 7 days, had no side effects, no infections. Don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Will use again next time need arises.

Started taking for throat infection. Pills smell real bad, have diarrhea, headache, some dizziness, indegestion, and fatigue. I didnt realize that it could be from the meds as I am taking over the counter meds for my cough. After reading reviews now I see it could all be from these pills. I will ask for something different next time.
