I had a persistant periapical abscess which had been treated with endodontia twice and surgery once over two years. Amoxicillin did nothing. This drug gave me severe abdominal problems but the periapical abscess shrunk and disappeared. It took months for my intestines to get back to normal.

Drug was prescribed after oral surgery for abcess. Taken 3 times/day for 10 days. Developed pain behind one knee and dry mouth. Finished taking drug 12 days ago and am starting with facial rash. Doesn't itch but is big red spots. Pain behind knee has gone but dry mouth continues and areas feel swollen in the mouth. Will start benadryl after reading the comments. It was given after root canal to prevent infection. Have taken 6 pills out of 20 and will stop. I have trouble swallowing,heartburn, nightmares,dizziness and all the muscles in my lower back and around my hips have cramped up just like I have been doing improper heavy lifting.....I can barely bend. 300MG 4xday....what idiot came up with "do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking&qu ...
