I have taken this medication several times for a throat infection. I have had a couple of throat infections over the past few years that have caused my tonsils to become sore, swell and develop white patches. The prescription cleared the infection each time with no adverse side effects. My ear nose and throat specialist first prescribed it to me and has given me the same medication each time.
