Started on 100, bumped to 150, bumped to 300 then back down to 225. Been on this drug for over 7+ years. 300mg was too high- made me feel like I was on too much coke or speed. I like this drug over other anti depressants because it didn't make me gain massive amounts of weight and it didn't make me sleep so much! Began with 100mg twice a day. Had many up and down days. sleep loss, increased anxiety, very dizzy and out of balance. Started feeling better at 5 weeks then the doctor moved me to 150mg twice a day and I am back to normal. My days are mostly all good now and feel I have my life back. I have seen other sites where individuals described a "honeymoon" period when starting the Wellbutrin ( Bupropion ), then a difficult period with the side effects until the 6th week sometimes up to 12 weeks and then the drug began to work very well. That is my story as well. It was difficult and very scarey until then but worth the trip for me as I feel better now than I have in years.

Has caused severe nausea. Have to eat almost constantly to fight nausea. Gaining weight. Depression seems worse. Also feeling very angry/agitated with this med. If you've had success with SSRI meds then I would recommend avoiding this drug.
