I am writing for my wife. Her Doctor took her off 15 MG Mirtazapine and now she gets an upset stomach and throws up. It has happened 5 times now and one time twice in one day. Also it doesn't seem to make a difference what kind of food she eats. I am wanting to know if this is a side effects of stopping the medicine? She had been off of it for a week before she started throwing up.

I feel extremely we ... Show Full Comment

I've been taking the 30mg tablets for maybe 8 months now and they do what they're supposed to. I found it took a week or two to start getting used to them. They help with sleep maybe too much. They force me to sleep about 8 hours even through a couple alarm clocks going off by my head for a couple hours. I've stopped taking them before because of this and was fine for a couple days but found the l ... Show Full Comment

I'm going to be honest, if you take Mirtazapine, NO FOOD IS SAFE! It really works well as an antidepressant, and is good for my Anxiety also, but i have never loved food so much, even the stuff i used to hate :(
