I have severe allergies and asthma. I took this med for about three years. It worked great on both problems and used it during half of my pregnancy. But after I went off for a while and then returned, I came to realize that my itchy skin, anxiety and severe constipation were caused by this medication. was prescribed allegra for severe indoor/outdoor allergies. it helps a lot on a daily basis and allows me to have cats as pets as well as work at a zoo. however, i have experienced extremely itchy skin as well as sexual side effects. i now use aquafor and another unscented lotion daily. i have alos switched to singulair to combat the sexual side effects. girls-ask your gynocologist about allegra b ... I have used fexofenadine for several years at allergy time of the year- Spring and fall primarily for post-nasal drip, and watery eyes. It has worked well with no side effects. My doctor says that I can fly (as a pilot) while using it.

I moved to arizona 10 years ago and the first year here I had nothing but one sinus infection after another.My doctor put me on allegra,(fexofenedine).No sinus infections for nine years. Very pleased.

This medicine has worked for me for about a year, however, the past month has been extremely difficult with my allergies. I have been wondering why my skin is so itchy all the time and I am constantly dry-mouthed and after reading some other reviews, now realize it is from this medicine.
