Am taking a daily 2ml injection of Thiamin HCL 200 mg/ml as part of the Klenner protocol treatment for Multiple Sclerosis. I find I have more energy, less fatigue. Very pleased with the results so far. ONly complaint is that insurance won't help with cost since it is considered a vitamin.

My body just would not abosrb the oral vitiamin. After about 100 days of taking this iv 1mL daily my faced stoped drooping. I was able to keep food down and was able to start eating without my sugar droping. I also noticed no more chest pains. I thought I was having mini strokes with the face droop, my legs and feet and arms were loosing feeling. I cried when I read all the things it can do to your body. I only had one doctor who took it very seriously and placed me on it daily. However, it costs me 330 to buy the medication and I just got put on SSI but because this is considered a vitiamin. I need comments from nephrologist and neurologist to account for the repeatedly observed clinical effect of two or three doses of Thiamine 50 IM or IV in an 83 year old Dialysis patient who is "delirious" after each dialysis. Repletion ? Thiamine given each week produces a startling clearing of damaged cognition from stroke and memory loss, with siginificant improvement in mini mental exam and recall of recent events. After two to three weekd without the Thiamine apathy and memory loss return as does malaise and fatigue. I cannot figure out the connection. B12 and B-complex do nothing at all like Thiamine. This patient never drank but is acidotic from renal acidosis and ketosis. Thank you C Herrera MD Voluntary Associate Professor Miller School of Medicine at the U of MiamiRead More Read Less
