The side effects are horrible. Joint and muscle pain as well as losing the sight in my right eye after taking Chantix for 5 months. My Dr. prescribed it for 6 months, that's too long!

I have had to take this drug twice. It is very effective and helps you quit smoking, but you must keep your will power going once you're off Chantix. The only reason I have started smoking again after taking Chantix was due to being drunk and around a crowd of smokers. I highly recommend this drug to anyone that is thinking of quiting.

I did not experience any side effects, that's good, but I also didn't stop smoking. I tried Chantix three times, for ninety days each, time after time, I failed. I was so hopeful this would work, I was quite excited about quitting, and thought this is it! I'm disappointed, and still smoking.
