I have been on implanon for 2 years now. honestly im quite a petite girl and my periods were probably on the average 5 days and very light on the last 2 days of the week. however im horrible at taking pills and time management so i decided on implanon. its also 99.9% effective compared to the pill which was 99.7%. not much difference but just to mention. I have had this form of birth control for little over a year and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have had my period since I got it back in April of 2012. My doctor has prescribed me medication for the bleeding but it hasn't work. I have had the Implanon implant for almost a year now (inserted in June 2012). I wanted to share my experience because it is a positive one and there are so many negative reviews out there.
