DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG!I was being treated for sinus inf and chest cough.I took 15 days worth and still sick BUT have taken it 12 other times in the last decade for diverticulitis and sinus with no side effects.This drug has been black boxed by FDA for a reason.After stopping the drug, 5 days later I felt achy like the worse flu ever, my knees are so inflammed I cannot get up and down from the toi

Chronic lung condition called MAC. Leviquin ALWAYS clears up nasty infection that includes bloody sputum and bad cough.
Take a 10 day treatment every 3 months or so due to recurring infection. Dr. wants me to try taking AZithromycin 600mg 3 days a week for extended period after infection has cleared. Not pleased to be taking this much antibiotic but will try for a month.

I was given this medicine to take to help clear up a persistant sinus/ear infection. Unfortunately I have to agree with most of the other reviewers...this drug is horrible! I am still recovering from rotator cuff surgery; this medicine has caused intense pain and soreness in my shoulder, caused my sciatic nerve to act up and just made me feel like I have the flu 24/7. I had to take Levaquin caplets for 7 days after a fibroid procedure. After the 7 days I developed severe cramping in the back of my calves, thigh and gluteous areas. I also developed a severe case of diarrhea and constant bowl movement. Went to ER and found out I had C.Diff (short for Clostridium Difficile). The ER doctor tells me Levaquin will cause C.Diff which is highly contagious and infectiou

I took this for a uti and strep throat.... The second day I started having severe neck and back pain and could barely stay awake so I stopped taking it but now I have severe shoulder pain and back pain!! This drug is horrible!!
