We had difficulties in the beginning finding the right dosage and I have a problem with constantly taking pills, always forgetting to take them but otherwise it has been working fine

I have experience migranes for the last 25yrs. My neurologist suggested the Topimax at bedtime prevent migranes. I could not get up to the theraputic dosage, the side effects were dreadful, from increasing my migranes to occular pressure so intense I had difficulty seeing and difficulty concentrating and difficulty speaking clearly at times (slurring and difficulty expressing my self, having dif ... been on topamax for 5 years. has been very effetive in reducing migranes for me. some side effects, but it is worth it.

I started Topamax for migraines. After of being on the drug for 10 days, I lost my eye sight for 3 days.(a side effect listed in the small print) After MRI's and spinal tap to rule anything else out, I took massive dosages of steroids to reduce the pressure in my eyes, and my eyesight did return with no residual side effects (possible glucoma) of the medication.
