I just found out in April that I am type two, the first night I took the meter home I had a 532 reading. within a week taking 100mg Januvia and 1000mg Metformin, my numbers are hitting 90-125, adjusting to the meds has been interesting but not too wierd. I feel better than ever and if Januvia works for you, it seems to work well. I am taking Metformin XR 500 2x a day I had issues with my numbers r ... Show Full Comment

BAD Broke out in hives within 1 hour of taken the first dose.. Have stopped using this drug

very unhappy...very painful...severe heartburn...5 months of pain...lost control of blood glucose (400 readings)...

My bg fasting was 135 on actos and glyburide. I also gained 35 pounds when I went from metformin to the actos. Januvia 50 mg has been added and my fasting bg has gone to 90. Also I lost 10 pounds so far and no side effects

worked some for a week or so than I soared to over 350. Felt sleepy, leg cramps, cough and cold sx. Too expensive and did not work. Back to the drawing board.
