This pill has made my face and neck break out horribly. My doctor put me on it to help clear up hormonal acne and it didnt do anything for it. I have gone to the dermatologist and they labeled it as hormonal cysts. The acne swells up and it's just gross.

I gave this pill a 5 for effectiveness as it was very effective at what it was supposed to do, prevent pregnancy, its the side effects that are the killer. I didn't put on any weight or have changes in my skin, the problem was my lack of energy. by 10:30 every night (which was when I would take the pill) I was exhausted and could barely hold my head up. I absolutely LOVE this pill! I've been on it for about 4 years now and it was the first birth control I have tried. Of course at the beginning you get a slightly longer period but once that is done everything is fine. It made my periods lighter and less painful and I only bled for about 3 days instead of my usual 5. The only problem I do have though, is my hair started falling out a lot. I didn't

Femcon FE was the first birth control pill I tried. My doctor put me on it as a test and for the first month everything was fine. However, in months two and three I started to get bad mood swings (crying at random), painfully tender breasts, and I had absolutely no sex drive. I returned to my doctor and he didn't seem surprised at all. I choose to switch to NuvaRing and haven't had a problem since
