Diagnosed with UC in 2008. Put on Asacol, 12 pills per day with reoccurring flares. I have been switched to Lialda, now over 2 years ago. 4 pills per day with no flares and no side affects.

I have hair loss and joint pain and I have had a few small flare ups this year so it has been very effective. I been taking it for 1 1/2 years now.

Since I started taking Lialda I have had no problems. I'm back to all my normal activities. life is GOOD.

I was diagnosed with UC in 2008. I was prescribed asacol and just couldn't handle the daily dosage. My dr then prescribed lialda and it has made a remarkable difference. I started out with 4 pills daily and am now on a maintenance dose of 1.2 mg daily! Overall, I feel great. My flare ups have subsided and I am able to manage my condition with diet.
