I've been completely satisfied with Flonase to rid me of the symptoms it is intended for. I've been a user over 5 years, and take one spray per nostril in the AM. It has kept me out of the doctor's office for seasonal allergies. I have recommended it to others, and some like it, and some do not. Some of my friends state it makes them "hyper." For me, it has been a terrific drug.

I have really bad allergies, but so I use it daily. After a week or so I am pretty sure it is giving me insomnia. Nasonex did the same thing. It is NOT listed as a side affect. Any one else have the same problem?

I don't know about all the side effects reported here. Perhaps some people are more sensitive than others, or perhaps some people aren't following the recommended dosage. I'm not questioning the reports; just stating my own experience. I have had nothing but great results with this drug, using it conjunction with fexofenadine. Generally I use one spray in each nostril, twice each day, once ... Show Full Comment

My son has been taking the generic of this drug and it works AMAZING for his allergies. HOWEVER, side effects are extreme aggression, hitting, throwing things, not all all himself, and says he just feels sad :( - he just turned 6. not worth it, looking for something else!
