My 10 year old son's ADHD symptoms were not changed at all by this product. It was as if he were just drinking a glass of water. So, the the doctor increased the dosage to 50 mg. This did not change the non-effectiveness of the drug. But, it caused my son to have nightmares, evil thoughts, hopelessness, increased anger, suicidal thoughts, wanted to run away, and lost interest in art. You m ... Show Full Comment

After trying Ritalin and Strattera, I switched doctors and he introduced me to Vyvanse. I noticed my energy level increased and focus ability increased as well. I began with 30mg daily and after 4 weeks, was increased to 50mg daily. My doctor was a bit concerned about the weight loss. My son will be 6 years old in 2 months. He has been diagnosed with ADHD, we tried Focalin XR, Adderall 10 mg and 20 mg and nothing worked. We tried Vyvanse 30 mg and we had to stop it on the 4th. day due to he got very depressed and spent 3-4 hours crying and screaming every day from 9am to 1pm non stop.
