I have an 11 year old son with ADHD. After reading the other reviews, I am wondering if he is the only one with negative side effects. Mood swings, aggressiveness, loss of appetite, sleeplessness it goes on and on. He is taking the lowest dose of 30mg. I just got diagnosed with ADD. I knew something was wrong with me for a long time every since I was little because I always lost concentration in classes and was a big time procrastinator. initial dose had to be upped. So monitoring may be needed if child isn't responding at first. Medication works GREAT now. No headaches, sleeping is getting better. We love it!

Unacceptable side effects in 8-year-old girl. Loss of weight 3 lbs, weighed only 45 when beginning. She had almost no appetite, she makes herself eat what little she can. She has difficulty sleeping and a higher heart rate.
