there has been no significant inrease in my igf level, and I have been taking it for 3 months now. I am a 64 year old female, taking the 2nd lowest dose 7 days a week. I notice that I have gained 5 pounds and that my stomach area, where I usually give the shot, below the navel, is "swollen", where I had a flat stomach before. Is this unusual? My clothes still fit, so possibly it is muscle that I have gained, but to go from 125 pounds to l30 pounds is upsetting to me. I do feel stronger on the genotropin and we are trying to strengthen my immune system (which was destroyed by 150 mci of radioactive iodine; thyroid cancer) so that I get less infections - my body harbours mycoplasma pneumonia all the time. Mostly I want to know abou the weight gain - has anyone else experienced this? Should I discontinue the drug???Read More Read Less
