Years ago, whenever i got a cold it ended up turning into a sinus infection or bronchitis... before this medication was made OTC, i would have to always go to the doctor who would prescribe me the exact formula that Mucinex D contains. I took this medication for cold (stuffed nose) and cough symptoms. I did not find complete relief with this as I have with tylenol cold or the like. Although it did help a bit. In addition it made me nauseaus and the pills are so large. For the price paid and only partial relief with horrible side affects - I dont recommend this product!
