I have been on this pill for a full month and like it. It has helped clear up the acne I was given while taking Loestrin FE significantly. Still not as clear as I was but I believe by the end of next month my beautiful clear skin should be back. I've experinced no side effects at all. I was terrified to take it after reading the terrible reviews but over all I'm satisfied with it. Still miss YAZ t...

I was switched to Tilia last month because my usual Tri Legest pills were not available. I started spotting after 2 1/2 weeks on this pill, and by the end of week 3, I started having a full, heavy period. On TriLegest I used to get my period 2 days after stopping them and it only lasted 3 days. This period has been very heavy, with large clots. I just had my annual exam last month so my doctor is...

I’ve experienced no negative effects, cleared my acne, no emotional effect, I’ve actually lost a little bit of weight. I love this birth control I’ve friend several other brands and this is the best

I have suffered from migraines since I was a little girl and found that there was no true medication I was satisfied with to treat them. The medication I was on for migraines was a blood pressure medication which inevitably lost effectiveness and my migraines progressively got worse. So I did my own research and found that birth control may help with the influx of brutal migraines as a teenager who frequently experienced horrible migraines. Migraines were my only symptom during menstration, no cramps, just really really crippling migraines. So, my doctor agreed to give it a shot and put me on Tilia FE. I was so thrilled that I was finally getting relief for my migraines. My only issue is that if I forgot to take a pill or took it late, sure enough, a migraine would be in the works. I just set a reminder for it and then I’m all set! I reduced my migraines to 2-3 every couple months which was so rare for me! I still have my triggers I have to watch out for, but otherwise I am very satisfied and happy I researched when I did. I skip the placebo until the third month because I still get headaches before and after my period, and this hasn’t caused me any problems. The only issue I had when I first took the pill was some minor spotting which went away quickly as well as any side effects. If you’re a migraine sufferer, I recommend this pill for you, but of course everyone with migraines is different, but it is worth a shot. As for birth control itself, I don’t have any comments because I am not sexually active nor do I plan to ever be, I made this review for the purpose of spreading awareness for options for migraine sufferers. I mean it really hasn’t gotten me pregnant, so that’s a plus side. This has actually made me more moody then I was before. I also have gained weight a lot more and I am trying to go to the gym so that doesn’t happen

I take latuda, citalophram and vyvanse and I started taking Tilia Fe one month ago. The pill definitely helped my mood before my period and I actually never got my period, I just got some spotting throughout the pills. I am on my second month and I feel like my body thinks its pregnant. I took a test and I was not pregnant but I feel like I have the symptoms for it. I get nauseous when I eat and I dont even feel like eating at all sometimes. Ive thrown up as well after Ive eaten, and Ive gotten lots of craving specially sweets and my acne has gotten worse I have a ton of small little pimples on my face. Read More Read Less

I'm not pregnant, so it has done its job, but the side effects are what are getting me. I've been taking this drug for about 4 months now and I'm finally starting to get symptoms. First, I'm an extremely happy person, but since I've started taking this I've become really sensitive and have started taking things super personally, which isn't like me. Some days I wake up and I'm extremely depressed. I have always had a little anxiety, but now my anxiety is through the roof. Plus, since I started taking TLF I have a weird discharge, I even got it checked out because I thought it was something serious and it was nothing. Read More Read Less

I have been on tilia fe for about 5 months. I cannot express how awful my experience with this drug has been. I switched to tilia fe from microestrogen after that had no effect on my abnormal periods. While tilia fe did resolve the problem of my periods being long, painful, and almost constant to make it a relatively light 6 day period once a month, the effect this drug had on my mood and other aspects of my physical health was horrible. I became so depressed all the time, I would lock myself in my room and cry about absolutely nothing. My anxieties were heightened and I became easily angry and irritated to the point where I once left a school class early due to my inability to tolerate people. I developed formication (the feeling of bugs crawling on the skin) that made me intensely paranoid, and it itched, all over my body. I have had barely any appetite felt so constantly nauseous that I have lost weight from not eating as much (around 3-5 lbs). I will be switching to a birth control patch in around a week after I have finished this round of tilia fe. As I am not sexually active, I can't speak for how well this drug does in preventing pregnancy. But overall: I regret staying on this drug as long as I did and am very happy to be able to get off of it soon. Would not recommend. Read More Read Less

After having cysts rupture on my ovaries every cycle for four months, my doctor decided to put me on Loestrin Fe, which seemed to work for about a month and then the cysts were back. She then switched me to Tilia Fe to more strictly regulate my hormones. My acne cleared up, my period got shorter and more regular, and more importantly my cysts have disappeared since starting. My PMS is worse than before but that is a small price to pay. Worked well for me!

I was switched to Tilia Fe when Estrostep became unavailable due to backorder. I did not experience any changes in side effects at all. It works exactly the same for me. No gas, no nausea, no weight gain. I can not tell the difference in taking the two drugs. The active ingredients are exactly the same. The inactive ingredients differ, but they are the same ingredients in most over-the-counter medications like Tylenol, Aleve, and Sudafed. If you do not have a bad reaction to them, you should be fine with the inactive ingredients in Tilia Fe.Read More Read Less

I was put on Tilia FE this past month becuase my usual presciption of Tri Legest FE has been on backorder for 2 months. I have been on Tri Legest for about 8 years now and I have had a terrible reaction to switching to Tilia. First off I had intense cramping and a very heavy 7 day period immediatly upon starting it (even though I had my normal 3 day period the week before). I even went in to see my gyno becuase I concerned with how much I was bleeding. I have not had any mood swings/depression yet as alot of people have reviewed but much to my dismay I am bleeding again (like full on period and cramps again ) and its only my 3rd week of the pill...I dont even want to know what is gonna happen during my placebo pill week if this is what I am experiencing right now... I want to switch back to Tri Legest but I ahve called about 5 different pharmacies and no one has it in stock and Estrosetp is $150 with my insurance so that isnt an option. I am now considering the Nuvaring because I just want to stop bleeding. I really hate this pill and dont recommend it to anyone!Read More Read Less

I am only taking this for one month; the pharmacy was out of Tri-legist Fe (generic Estrostep - why does Estrostep have to be so expensive!?) Im on the second week and I am experiencing breast tenderness. I have never experienced this side effect before with any other BC pill...actually I have not experienced this kind of breast sensitivity since puberty! I also think the packaging is a waste of plastic.

Some months I feel fine on this, but some months I have a lot of breast tenderness and severe mood swings and depression. I was a little skeptical about switching from Estrostep to this generic, but I really want to go back to Estrostep. I have had bad breast tenderness for days and very low energy and bad mood swings.

I switched to Tilia Fe from Estrostep (Brand to Generic). Worst decision EVER! I started feeling A LOT of depression (I'm not a depressed person at all) and didn't understand why. My periods were extremely heavy and lasted 4-5 days with major cramping. I switched back to Estrostep Fe last month and after getting an extremely LIGHT period, no cramping, and NO DEPRESSION I've decided I am willing to pay the $60/month. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for.

I have been using Estrostep for years and just recently got put on this generic and I HATE IT! I have been more emotional, crazy mood swings and have been breaking out constantly..my skin was never like this when I was taking Estrostep. I would make get one break out right before my period and that was it, now every other day I have a new one surfacing and they last for a week or more. I will be going right back to the brand even if it means paying more!

I have tried two other oral contraceptive brands before Tilia Fe, and have had absolutely no emotional/physical side effects with this specific prescription. I am absolutely relieved that this medication exists and works so well with my hormone levels.

I personally love taking Tilia. I initially bounced from pill to pill trying to find one that didn't drive me bonkers, cause intense cramps, and in general worked! Since being on Tilia I have had a dramatic decrease in ovarian cysts and cyst pain (I have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom) and my overall mood has improved. Everyone has a different body chemistry and they need to talk to their dr. to find something that works for THEM but I would definately recommend this as an option they should discuss with their dr. *Side note* Most of the negative reviews on this thread come from people listing that they have been taking this pill for only a few months and if they actually did a little research and talked to their dr. they would know that BC pills can take 3 to 6 months to normalize in your system. It doesn't always work sometimes it's just the wrong pill, but it's better to actually give it a try before throwing it in the "worst pill ever!" binRead More Read Less

I used to take Reclipsen 28 and was always very moody and depressed, after switching to this that all disappeared and i felt like myself again. Aside from a huge improvment in my mood, My acne has improved and I have only been on it for 2 months. The only negavtive thing i can say is tht i think i get more hungry on this pill.
