This new drug not only helped my depression but it took away my food obsession. i used to eat nonstop and now i eat my meal and dont even think of food anymore. Instead of living to eat, im eating to live. I only had mild nasea in my first couple days, now no sid ... Show Full Comment

For over a year I had been feeling "heavy". I do not like to take medicine so I tried: keeping a gratitude journal, vitamins, meditation/prayer, diet change, and exercise. None of which took the "heavyness" of life away. I finally gave in to my Dr.'s request and have felt much much better (about 2-1/2 months). Lost my mom to a brain tumor and brother in the Trade Center, became depressed. Was on Lexapro, too many s/e. Love this drug. I can sleep at night, awaken easily in the am, have energy (before couldn't go to gym, now go every day) Only side effect I see is this intense caffeine craving (barely drank caffeine at all before) Otherwise it's great. Lost those pesky 7 pounds I was trying to ... Show Full Comment

I have been on this medication for a few and so far everything has been going really well except for the very vivid weird dreams. I have been on numerous anti-depression medications and out of all of them this one has had the least amount of side effects.
