I chose Align because I heard that it was recommended by GI MD's. I took this drug for a little over a month. I purchased the second box because I thought that maybe it would take time for my intestines to adjust to it. Even though I stopped about a week ago, I still have constant embarassing gas and about 6 small,sometimes urgent, very loose bm's a day. This has diminished since my las ... Show Full Comment

I took Align instead of eating yogurt when I was prescribed antibiotics. I developed fever blisters after the second day of taking Align, and each day discovered new fever blisters. It took me nearly a week before I became suspicious that it was the Align. I stopped taking it a couple of days ago and haven't developed any new fever blisters. I started taking Align 2 days ago and got bad acid reflux. My throat had that burning feeling right away and has not stopped. Gas and bloating are still there and I have also experienced some abdominal cramping. I previously used Acidophilus and that worked great, but I wanted to try this probiotic because I heard that it was specifically for IBS issues. It did not work on my IBS symptoms! I ... I am a 65 year old female and just started taking drug for IBS. I am only on my 3rd day but have experienced severe headaches and started getting very itchy on the neck. If it doesn't stop soom I will stop taking the drug.

i took this at the recommendation of a doctor for stomach problems. started loosing my appetite, blood pressure went up, heart pounding,stopped taking after about two weeks and everything returning to normal.
