I have been on some kind of Oxy for over ten years. I was taking 12 30 Mg IR's a day.I was in the Hospital a while back were there addiction specialist cut me back to 15 MG every 3 hours,That was fine while I was lying in bed in the hospital. When I got out and had to do things it wasn't enough and still isn't.I am on 5 30's a day and I can't do anything but lie around. After the specialist looked ...

Recovery from Broken tib/fib fracture surgery. 10mg every 4 hrs in hospital was bare minimum to get close to pain relief. Only allowed 5mg 4/day while at home and about %60 effective depending on pain severity. Haven’t slept for more than 2 hr night in 3 weeks. 15mg would suffice but addiction concerns (by dr) not allowing me to get relief and sleep needed. Now prescribe lung an anxiety insomnia medication also :(. Never took meds prior, worked out 3 days week for years….now life is completely different and a struggle. Read More Read Less

I had mitral valve surgery recently where they access the heat through the right rib cage. this is a relatively new procedure. For two week after the surgery I had severe pain at the incision site and was taking 18 - 5mg tabs. This is the maximum suggested dose. It worked well to control the pain, but had a lot of side effects - loss of appetite, severe constipation, dizziness, weakness, etc. I was able to slowly reduce the dosage and after three more weeks was able to stop taking the drug. This is an effective drug with lots af bad side effects.Read More Read Less

Been taking 8 a day for 4 years, eases the edge off but I end up getting pain shots. (Bile duct disease, degenerative disc disease entire lower back herniated). I hate taking them and want off them, but realistically until issues are dealt with I have to keep taking them. don't want anything stronger. catch 22.

I hate them It sucks .I am 60 now and have been taking them since 03.When they made the OC's 40 and 80 Mg they worked great I could have some some kind of life but the OP that they make now don't work the same.I am getting ready to have both hips replaced soon hoping that will control some of my pain. I still have two bulging disk .Read More Read Less

The medication at the dose of 10 MG 4 per day is not helping remove the pain. I have an Aortic Dissection and my Physician will not allow and surgery. I have call the NYS Spine and Wellness today to request and increase in the dosage due to the pain increase.

have been a caregiver for fifteen years and been lifting a 53 pound wheelchair now for 3 months. It has helped my shoulder and back pain better than any other medication tried before this. I am on 15mg a day.

I FOUND THIS MEDICATION TO BE VERY GOOD FOR MY UPPER & LOWER BACK PAIN. I TAKE IT AS PRESCRIBED FOR IT IS VERY ADDICTING AND THAT IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST CONCERNS.
