I started taking azurette only because i had to go to walgreens (I am with CVS) at the last minute to re-up. I usually take Kariva but these three months i've taken Azurette, my boobs are so sore it hurts to touch them, decreased libido however no irregular bleeding. Biggest problem is the sore boobs!

My first month on Azurette was utter torment. After the first month, several of the side effects had subsided. However, I am now very sensitive to smells (to the point where I feel as if I'm going to vomit) and often feel sick a week before to the week after my period. If only I could give negative stars. Before I started taking this pill I was very happy and perfectly healthy. Had headaches the first 2 months on it but they went away. I did not get pregnant while I was on the pill--so it was effective there--but over the 11 mo I was taking it, I experienced weight gain, terrible mood swings, decreased libido, and bad acid indigestion. I went on this birth control because I needed a form of contraceptive and also to keep my hormonal breakouts under control. This is the pill that planned parenthood recommended to me. It has cleared my skin up pretty amazingly in the first month. However, it makes me super bloated, exhausted, and incredibly emotional.
