I absolutely HATE this pill. I was switched from LoestrinFe to Gildess and the side effects have been awful. Right away I noticed frequent nausea, headaches, depression, and irritability. I figured it was only because it was new and I would soon get used to it but i have already been on Gildess for 6 months and it has not gotten any better. I always feel tired and extremely moody for no reason ... Show Full Comment

I'm 21 years old: I had to switch from the LoEstrin 24 Fe because of the current issues goin on with that and my insurance won't pay because its too expensive now. That was the best BC I've used yet and now I can't use it anymore. I never gained wait, my skin cleared up, my mood was balanced, my period was like 2 days and no cramps. Since I started Gildess Fe I have gained 15 lbs b ... Show Full Comment

I had to switch to this medication because of the whole Loestrin 24 Fe patent thing. I loved that pill, this one not so much. I never have issues with medication, therefore I noticed right away how different my mood was after taking it. The only emotion I could feel was anger, I didn't want to be around people, I was argumentative and mean. Not only did I have a severe shift in my behavior but ... Show Full Comment

    Comment:
Bottom line, it works and there are no intolerable side effects. Gildess cleared up my skin, I didn't notice any weight gain or severe depression, and I had zero cramping and regular, light periods. But it tanked my sex drive and physical ability to become aroused. It took me nearly a year to figure it out, but I've been off of it for almost four months and have noticed a huge difference. ...
