I've been moody as hell and I hate this birth control. My pharmacy sucks ass because they always refill the generic when I specifically ask for Junel. I'm calling ahead of time to make sure they get it right.

I was changed to Microgestin Fe 1/20 from Loestrin Fe 1/20 since it was already discontinued by the manufacturer. I specifically asked my dr to change it to Microgestin since I've read so many negative reviews on Gildess only to find out that my pharmacy substituted and dispensed me GILDESS instead of MICROGESTIN, to avoid the hassle of going back and filling the RX again, I decided to give GI ... My acne that had been cleared up when using a different birth control began reappearing. The spotting between my periods were random and heavy. On top of all of this, I became much more moody than usual. I would not recommend this birth control to ... Show Full Comment

I'm 18 & this is my first prescribed birth control meds so i'm not familiar with all of this. My ovaries have hurt& i've felt awful on this. Random pains in my stomach & fatigue. I also sense a yeast infection starting, which i've never had. I don't recommend this.

Yeah I've been taking the Gildess for 9 months now and I hate it. I was on Loestrin for 5 years and it worked great for me. Had to switch to this b/c of insurance. I'm bloated on and off through out the month not to mention I am spotting randomly when I shouldn't be having a period. I would go months at a time with no periods or spotting on the Loestrin. Not to mention I'm now havi ... Show Full Comment
