I previously used loestrin fe but it was discontinued so I was prescribed this. I have never had side effects from a bc in my life until now. I feel weak, nauseated and have constant throbbing headaches. I have no energy and have terrible mood swings. I am currently waiting my appointment to have paragard implanted and get off this bc as soon as possible!

I'm 46 and previously taking Lutera. I changed Dr's and wanted a pill that had both estrogen and progrestin. I've been on this for three weeks. My first period lasted 10 days, I have gained 5 pounds, I had horrible cramping, my heart has been racing for two days now, I have been tired, have had bad dreams (when I don't normally remember dreaming) and my moods have been scary. I was previously on Loestrin 24 Fe before it was discontinued and was prescribed Gildess. I have no complaints. No weight gain, acne, mood swings, nothing. I've been taking for almost two years and it's great for me. I have a period for three consecutive months and then go three months without a period. My normal periods on the pill last around 4 days.

I have been taking this birth control for about a year now. I got it or acne and birth control. I am still not pregnant so the medicine has done its job! However, sex is MISERABLE because this birth control has severely decreased my natural lubrication and caused vaginal dryness. My acne hasn't cleared up anymore than it has with other birth controls. I have probably had maybe 5 periods within ... Show Full Comment

Ok this is literally the worst thing in the world. This is my first month with birth control and I've gained 15lbs mostly due to the fact that I haven't been able to go to the bathroom in about two weeks. My doctor even prescribed me with laxatives and that has done nothing. The only thing I've changed in diet was taking this birth control. I couldn't even finish this month. It' ... Show Full Comment
