I have been diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia in the last ten months. The pain has been unbearable. The Drs have been giving me pain meds which has helped with the lupus, but I still had terrible pain. My new Dr diagnosed me with fibromyalgia as well as lupus and has prescribed me Savella in addition to meds to treat the lupus. By taking it just two days, I have had had noticeable pain relief. ... I take this and Neurontin together. When i just took the Savella it was taking care of about 70% of the pain and issues. Had some side effects at first, but they leveled off. Only downside is taking it 2 times a day. Other than that, really like it. It caused soem sleep issues so I was given the Neurontin which has helped with pain and sleep.

After trying every other drug on the market for my fibro and having them either not work or cause "head games" as my doctor called it, he gave me sample triation pack of Savella. The first 2 days I felt great. I was giddy but my heart was racing. I had take anxiety pill to calm down. The next week seemed to feel pretty normal, pain slightly decreased but very much still present. Once I g ... Show Full Comment

I take Savella for fibromyalgia and when I ran out, within two days, the severe pain came back. I was on Prestiq for depression also and was taken off it due to possible seritonin syndrome. I still have my days of relapsing pain and fatigue, but I am very happy with it and highly recommend it for others if their doctor is in agreement. I do not have the weight gain issue or any sedation. Very e ... Show Full Comment
