I have SEVERE fibromyalgia and have tried more pain treatments than I care to count, including this one. It had absolutely NO affect on the symptoms nor the pain. So far, the only medication I have found to actually alleviate the pain and spasms is the "Butrans Patch" at a dosage rate of 20 micrograms/hr.

I have Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I take Ritxin infusions for the RA and for some reason treating one increased the pain from the other. My Fibro symptoms went crazy and the doctor put me on Savella. Because Savella acts like an anti depressant, I was told I have to stop taking Pristiq 100 mg per day.
