I recently had a surgical procedure about a week ago and was prescribed Nucynta for pain relief. I only take it when I began to hurt and so far the only thing that happens when I take it is that I get a real bad headache, but it relieves the pain at the surgical site.

Just got switched from Hydrocodone/percocet/darvocet to Nucynta. Already like it! I had my shoulder scoped a month or so ago and just started. I am very relaxed and it is really working well on the pain. Recommend it as a replacement. In no way is this like Tramadol, it actually has a great euphoric feeling that helps one cope with the pain as well.

Of all the pain meds-at least 20-this is the only one that truly worked. It gave me 6 to 8 hrs of relief. You don't feel goofy after taking it. I am able to stay at work or drive my car without any worry of side affects.
