My 8 year old has been on this drug in combination with Concerta for almost a year. It has done wonders for us! He finally sits in his seat, can focus and concentrate in school, is finally reading (because he can sit long enough to focus on doing it!) and pays attention in class. We are up to 2 mg. It is perfect but it has sure helped him tremendously. We give him his meds with breakfast and besid

We recently started our 10 y/o son Intunive. Started out on 1mg for 1 week and it seemed ok he could definitly notice that he was drowsy. Beginning his senior year he was taking 60 mg of generic Ritalin, everything was ok but our Dr. Recommended that we got talk to a psychiatrist and see if he had any suggestions for the type of medication my son should be on that may be better for him. We met with a counselor and psychiatrist and they recommended adding I

My 7 year old son has ADD/ADHD and started Intuniv about 2 months ago. He only took 1 mg for the first month and it helped significantly with his attention in school and with other activities. He was able to focus better and actually complete a task on his own that he could not do without constant reminders before the medicine. We bumped him up to 2 mg and it was too much, made him really sleep
