I have been on this medication starting my 3rd week--I have lost 7 pounds and feel full when eating very little. Have had some minor headaches and nausea, when this happens I eat a couple of crackers and it goes away. They just increased my dosage to 1.8 will see what happen next. Sugars have been okay. But I like it so far.

I've been on Victoza for 2 months. My blood sugars are good and I've been able to eliminate glyburide and cut my insulin from 25 units twice a day to 10 twice a day. I've been able to follow a diet and eat less and have lost 24 lbs so far.

It lowered mu A1c considerably. I lost 10 lbs., then no more. The only thing I don't like is the high cost. After 3 mos. I'm in the donut hole already & have to pay over $600. for a 3 mo. supply.

The drug works great, but it cost me $1,000 for a 90 day supply until you meet your ins deductible.
