I took this for a month and am stopping it because I had spotting the entire month, severe headaches and no sex drive. Also have started experiencing deep vein thrombosis - all these are side effects of this pill. Does not work for me.

I have been on Gianvi since YAZ had that big reacall a while back. (approx 2 years)I loved YAZ but was switched to this, the first 8-12 months worked great, however, I believe my body "got used" to the pill and it wasnt as effective over time. This pill has been terrible for me, i've been on it for over 6 months and i HATE it. I've been having terrible headaches and crazy mood swings. I start crying over absolutely nothing and haven't felt like myself in forever. The only benefit has been the shorter periods, but even that doesn't make this pill worth taking.

Worst pill ever! Starting with mood changes, I cry for no reason at all times even if watching a cooking show. I can't stop eating which has def made me gain weight. I already had a big cup size and since taking the pill it has definitely increased tremendously. I have the worst cramps ever and I feel like a teenager during my cycle because it has increased as well. Don't use this pill at ... Show Full Comment

Although I was terrified of trying this birth control pills due to the many negative reviews, I have taken the pill for 5 months now and I do like it a lot. I suffered from moderate to severe (depending on the time of month) hormonal and cystic acne, and after about 3-4 packs it cleared up my skin right up. Before it cleared it completely I did tend to get small cysts during the inert pills, howe ... Show Full Comment
