Gianvi effected the way my heart was beating! I took Yaz for three years, and when the generic came out for it, I switched to save money. After being on it for three months, I became fatiqued and exhausted. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, and I never would have though it was my Pill. I went to my doctor, and they ran tests and came up empty handed. After examinging my pulse and h ... Show Full Comment

I took Yaz for years with no problems, but my insurance changed and recommended Gianvi. I have been on it for 10 days and I am having to go to my doctor tomorrow to get changed back to Yaz. Since I have been on this drug I have been experiencing bad side affects that have only increased in severity. These include mood swings and hot flashes (of which I have never had before) I have had mild halluc ... Show Full Comment

I HATE this b/c. It is horrible, I've gained weight with it even though I workout 5 days a week and watch what I eat and I get horrible mood swings near my period. It's horrible, I get angered and moody so easily and its horrible because I can't even control it. I attempted this drug for 3 months now and I am already switching from it because it's negatives (weight gain and mood ... Show Full Comment

I used to take Yaz but switched because of prices. Honestly, I enjoy Gianvi better than Yaz. I have lighter, shorter periods now. I have no complaints whatsoever about this medication. It really shows how medicines can affect people differently. You just have to find what works best for you. I recommend at least trying Gianvi and seeing if it works for you.
