I was on Yaz for two years and it was WONDERFUL! I decided to take Gianvi for one month because the insurance went up and I didn't have $50 for it. BAD MISTAKE! I had break through bleeding, terrible cramps, a period that last 8days!!!! And worst of all, my acne was DISGUSTING! Never again! I went right back to Yaz. Still some break through bleeding from hormones getting back to normal. But, m ... Show Full Comment

I am an 18yr old college student. I have been on Yaz since I was 16. When my doctor messed up and prescribed me the Generic version GIANVI he claimed that there was no difference between the two (except for the much more affordable price) Honestly, I have been on GIANVI for 2 months and I have been MISERABLE. DEPRESSED. FEELING WORTHLESS. I CRY FOR NO REASON. HAVE NO MOTIVATION OR DRIVE TO DO MY S ... Show Full Comment

I switched to Gianvi from yaz because of the price after yaz stopped that cool $25 program. I wasn’t interested in paying over $50 for birth control. I must admit, I was freaking out after I read the reviews on this site. My doctor calmed me down after I called her and she was right. There is one positive review on this site that I read that gave me courage to try. Therefore, ladies I have to echo ... Show Full Comment

I switched to the generic form of yaz last month because I couldn't afford yaz because of not having insurance. [gianvi is still expensive $56.00] I can honestly say I hate it. It made me moody, gave me headaches, felt like I was an emotional trainwreck. I always get emotional a week before my period, while on yaz but this was the entire month. I am now on my period but starting Beyaz tonight. ... Show Full Comment

I've been on this for a little over a month. It started out ok and I was pleased because I didn't gain weight or become really bloated. However, in the last couple of weeks I am sick to my stomach all the time and I've become incredibly emotional. I am having what seem to be panic attacks, temper tantrums, and extreme mood swings (I'm normally a quiet and calm person). I'm ... Show Full Comment
