I'm 34 and just had my second child. I wanted to enjoy life with my husband before possibly having a 3rd so I decided to go on birth control. It has been 10 years since I've been on birth control so my doctor prescribed Beyaz. Very excited when he told me it would help with my mood swings and acne..which it did but I started having severe lower back pain and hip pains which got worse over ... Show Full Comment

I flushed the entire pack down the toilet after only two weeks of use. After taking this for one week, I started experiencing severe depression. Having a history of depression, I decided this wasn't for me stopped taking it a week later.I experienced very heavy bleeding for a week after stopping it, then got my period two weeks later. This drug was a nightmare.

Basically caused me have two periods a month for a few months, and now that my body has adjusted properly, my libido dropped dramatically. Also I've been vomiting in the middle of the night for months and finally realized this must be the cause. Sure I'm not pregnant and sure my periods are now incredibly light, but I'm miserable and exhausted in the process. Everyone's body is dif ... Show Full Comment

I started out taking Yasmine birth control, then Yaz then Beyaz. I have a migraine almost everyday and have gained weight. I also have developed rhinitis, which may or may not be caused by this birth control. It has worked for the reason I started taking it.. However I wonder if the excess hormones, headaches and sinus infections are worth it. :/
