I've been on this pill for 5 years. The first 3 were great. I had to switch to a different pill due to finances and I was on that for 3 months. When I switched back to this one I got side effects that I never got in the 1st 3 years. Now I am very irritable always, I have vaginal dryness, and I have a VERY reduced sex drive. It is starting to affect my relationship. I need a pill with a lose do ... Show Full Comment

This pill was a scary experience for me. Not getting your period can be a lifesaver to some women; however, there is no reassurance that you are not pregnant and can be frightening, especially when you don't know that this is a side effect. I got a light, 1-2 day period the first three months I was on the pill, and haven't gotten it since. I gained about 5-10 pounds despite working out and ... Show Full Comment

Be very careful taking this drug. I am 30 years old and I was on it for only 2 months and started to have extreme anxiety and panic attacks and tachycardia. I couldn't function to take care of my children, I couldn't go to work and I was scared to death to anything thinking it was anxiety and anything was going to trigger it. I ended up going to the hospital after my pulse reached 120 and ... Show Full Comment

I have been on this medication for about a year. My Dr switched me for a lower hormone level to help with moodiness. I assumed it would help, I stopped getting my period in January and have taken many pregnancy tests since because of missed periods that I did not know was a side effect. I also found the last year I'm quick to jump with issues, even moodier I would say. I am also on a medicatio ... Show Full Comment

I've been on Lo Lo for about a year, and I've loved it since I started but just recently realized I have become a terribly angry person. I thought just being an overwhelmed teenager was my issue, but I went off the pill for a month and I was 20x less annoyed and I had so much more energy. I had severe acne for a year before I went on this pill, and going on it stopped some but I still ge ... Show Full Comment
