Lo Loestrin Fe has worked well for me and I am a fan of the medication itself. I have been taking it for 3 years now and have experienced minimal to no side effects/complications... That being said, it's very important to note here that it DOES NOT HAVE A GENERIC. If you're willing to pay $100 or more per month, than read no further. If you cannot afford this, you're basically out ... Show Full Comment

Started this birth control at 22 and it was my first time using the pill. I never took birth control because I was honestly nervous about gaining weight. This pill made me gain no weight and reduced my periods. I could go a few months without a period which scared me but my doctor said it was completely okay. Been on it almost a year, the first month I bled in between periods. Be sure you take it at the exact same time daily. Some months I didnt get a period at all or it was very late. It took months for my period to sync up with the pills. I had no side effects and love this pill! I Have high blood pressure and this hasn't raised my BP at all like nuvaring did or another Bc pill I tried

Birth control is such a bizzare thing. It is SO different for every single person. Lo Loestrin may be good for you, but this was my experience.. I was on Lo Loestrin fe for 10 months. I switched to it from Nuva Ring which was SO easy to use, but made me a hormonal monster (that's for another review). I did like the fact that Lo Loestrin didn't give me mood swings, however, after the first ... Show Full Comment
