In my experience, I never took Yaz, but was on Gianvi for almost a year before I started Loryna (this month is my second on it). On Gianvi I gained weight, lost my sex drive, but had shorter, lighter periods (I almost didn't get any they were so brief). I must admit I was scared when I read these reviews about Loryna, but I have had no significant problems while taking this birth control. Even though mild cramps show up a little early, my periods are lighter and shorter and I find myself in a better mood. I have had no weight gain also. Ah - I am so glad I found this - I have missed two periods and am late for my third! I was freaking out even though all of the pregnancy tests are negative!

I was originally on Gianvi for about four months. It was fantastic! I actually LOST weight and looked the best I've ever looked in my entire life. Then I was switched to Loryna. Oh man, it's AWFUL.
