As other women have commented, I feel this med has ruined my life. I have gained so much weight so rapidly, have zero libido and I feel like an absolute spaz...my moods, my concentration, my energy level...all have plummeted. If you have any doubts after you are put on this med (who knows, it may work for you), be sure to say something right away. I made the mistake of waiting and the weight just ... Show Full Comment

I normally take Yaz, however CVS messed up my mail order and sent me Loryna. I had no choice but to take it seeing as CVS said they couldn't send me the new prescription until June 7th. I started taking Loryna and for about 3 weeks now I have had horrible spotting. It's annoying and frustrating. When I have intercourse it hurts and the day after I feel crampy and bloated. My mood swings ha ... Show Full Comment

I switched from Yaz to Loryna when the price of Yaz continued to rise to a point where it was no longer affordable for me. BAD IDEA! I stopped having a regular period (no period for multiple months in a row and then spotting at random and sometimes a full on period), started having bleeding during intercourse, horrible acne, and no libido. I am switching to something else as soon as my new insuran ... Show Full Comment

I absolutely HATE this medication. I am in the same boat as many others here as CVS automatically switched me from Gianvi to Loryna. They NEVER told me they switched me so to my surprise when I opened the package and found this I was not happy. I have a constant bloating to the point where my ovaries feel like something is wrong. It thought it was my body adjusting but the problem is I haven't ... Show Full Comment

I too was switched from Gianvi to Loryna at CVS. They told me it was no longer being made which is a complete lie. I've been severely depressed, have had really bad acne, mood swings, it's just been horrible these past few months since starting this pill. CVS should be ashamed of themselves! Please consult a doctor before switching medication! I will be going back to Gianvi and really hope ... Show Full Comment
