I have been on Gianvi for several years. I do well with it. My acne is under control and my periods are very regular. I love it! However, like some of you I was taken by surprise when CVS just switched me to Loryna without my understanding of why. I was told two different stories, one: that they didn't carry it anymore and two: that it's the same medication just under a new manufactures na ... Show Full Comment

My pharmacy randomly changed my bc from giavani to loryna. They said they were both generic for yaz so i was cool with it, but afyer taking it for only 2 months i was unhappy with it. Ive been spotting the whole month and not just light spotting, like im on my period spotting. I should not be bleeding all month.

I was switched from Yaz to Loryna after my insurance was switched and the new insurance would not cover Yaz. I had been taking Yaz long term to help control my migraines and it worked great. I was assured Loryna was the same hormones as Yaz with just generic fillers. Impossible. Within the first week on Loryna I had a terrible migraine and started spotting. I had horrible mood swings, zero patienc ... Show Full Comment
