i started taking this medication a few years back, around when i was 18-19. i hated adderal, not to mention all the dietary issues, and it made me feel uncomfortable and annoyed. i didn't like taking and often wouldn't. my grades suffered i was doing bad. I asked my pedi to prescribe Vayarin and she did so very willingly. My 7 year old with ADHD/SPD/Dyspraxia has been on it almost 60 days now, we've really noticed a difference in executive functioning. Hearing his name the first time, not getting distracted when carrying out simple one-or-two step tasks, he will remember to do something without constant reminders every few minutes. It's n ... My 6 yr old daughter was recently diagnosed with an auditory deficienty. Which is not ADHD but more of how she takes in auditory information due to her bio mothers drug use during pregnancy. Lucky for us this is only the 2nd med we have tried & after a mth i notice a huge difference in her communication skills as far as verbalizing herself. teen taking this for concentration. Grades back up; better behaved in school; happier overall! This is a miracle pill. It is easy to swallow. It took about 30-40 days to really kick in.
