This has been one of the better antidepressants that I have been on and I'm pretty sure that I've run the gammot from the TCAs to the SSRIs and SNRIs. I never had the side effects of nausea and diarrhea that scares so many people away from taking it. After several unsatisfactory trials with other ADs, I tried Viibryd. Despite all the problems others have had, I had only very mild and ephemeral side effects mostly in the first few days. Going up to 40mg on the starter pack was a breeze. Feel relaxed, almost post-massage physically and upbeat psychologically. So far, after 6 weeks, this one may be THE one that suits me. i took this medicine for about 2 months,started with the 10 then 20 & unto 40. first 2 weeks pretty good, after that my life was hell & still is & i stopped this 6 months ago. have bowel movement 3-4 times a day, i have had 3 MRI 2 0n brain,told i have had mini strokes!! waiting on results of third mri on my neck. have terrible headaches, intense neck pain, jumppy legs, pain in legs, n ... Pros- Worked great for my depression. I have been on every anti-depressant known to man and this one helped the most with my depression. Cons- Terrible side effects: Vomiting up until I stopped taking it 4 months later, dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, inability to focus, extreme hallucinations. I was up to 90mg of Cymbalta and still experiencing tough depression symptoms. Was weaned off Cymbalta while starting the Viibryd to cut withdrawl symtoms of Cybalta. Afte the first week I noticed a huge improvement. The second week was the best I have ever felt in my entire life.
