Doctor switched me to Viibryd after more than two years on Pristiq. Pristiq seemed to simply stop working. Took my Viibryd exactly as prescribed--with at least 400 calories of food. Had mild nausea the first couple of nights. Began to have intermittent "jimmy legs" and occasional hiccups. (Don't think I've had hiccups in years.) Night after first 40 mg dose was awful. Coul ... Could not finish the starter pak, quit it on day 23, start of 2nd week on 40mg. Did not like the way I felt, like I had taken too much -medicine head- is best way to describe it. Short term memory loss was severe, weight gain, lightheaded, spacey, irritated, depressed. Went back to Prozac 40 mg and the first two days were horrible. I took my first pill last night and woke up this morning with severe nausea, diarrhea, stiffness and jitteriness. I also had very vivid nightmares. I don't think this medicine is for me and will not take another one

I have been on so many antidepressents and was hoping this was going to be my miracle. I feel better than i have in years regarding the depression but an having such bad anxiety attacks and nightmares. also terrible insomina.
