During my last yearly exam I asked my physician to prescribe me a different birth control as I was not happy with the effect my old birth control had on my skin. I've always dealth with pretty severe hormonal acne and thought maybe a new form of birth control could help. Vestura has made my skin 10 times worse; it's so embarrassing! I've only been on it for 2 months so I'm hopin ... Show Full Comment

I asked my doctor for birth control during my last visit. Prior to that my partner and I had been using condoms exclusively for many years. I had taken ortho tri-cyclen and ortho tri-cyclen lo in college with no adverse effects. My doctor strongly recommended Yaz. My pharmacy filled the prescription with Vestura. I began taking it on the first of my period. I've taken them every day at the sam ... Show Full Comment

For one, my boyfriend, family and friends have officially considered me "bad-shit crazy". This is what bothers me the most about this BC. I snap out of nowhere, I break down in tears for now apparent reason and I can't control any of my emotions... I act crazy and I know I act crazy but there's nothing I can do about it. I don't recognize myself anymore. I have no drive or mo ... Show Full Comment

I was switched to Vestura in December 2013 or so. I have experienced cramping, spotting, mood swings, severe depression and weight gain. I have always been around 145 to 150lbs range now I am 170lbs! being only 5' 4' tall this has been horrific. Not sure if it is the weight gain or this drug but my sex drive is gone. Thought I was going crazy and thought my body was going through chan ... Show Full Comment
